Data Drives Discovery

"We deliver data. The conference delivers interpretation." -Chris Crenshaw

If you are an investor, destination, corporation or anyone else who has recently discovered hotel data, Data 101 is for you. This course will help newbies navigate through the endless acronyms and the industry language you're dying to know.

In Data 101: Digesting the Alphabet Soup, Chris Crenshaw of STR will walk attendees through the metrics used in hotel benchmarking as well as some techniques for slicing and dicing data to get the most out if it.

We'll talk about major key performance indicators (KPI's) like occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR and how STR compiles the individual hotel data.

We'll answer questions like:

What do all these acronyms mean?

Why is it important to look at hotel data?

How do these metrics impact my business right now?

What can the data tell us about the future of the hotel industry?

After successfully completing Data 101, attendees can walk into any other HDC session and be able to focus on what the data means for their business.  If you are new to Hotel Data Conference or are new to using hotel data, plan to attend Data 101.
